Any Detroit Lockers for 28 spline IRS?

Searched, couldn't find anything except the Torsen diff unit. I'd like a real Detroit locker style setup, doesn't have to be any specific brand as long as it works like a locker and not limited slip or anything.

Anyone know of such a unit with 28 splines? I'll call Summit and see what they have to offer as there is none on their website...

The TrueTrac should run around $450. P/N 912A562 should be the 28 spline unit. If you call Summit, I'm sure it can be had.

I have a Detroit Locker in mine. Not the best for a daily driver, but great for weekend car with a lot of strip use.

Yeah I know I need to call, they only show the most popular stuff in catalogs.

So any Locker built after 2004 will work without modifying it for the halfshafts?

Yep, any Detroit Locker for Fords made after July 2004 are IRS compatable according to them.

Yes yes thread revival! So is it safe to say the TrueTrac is a nice piece of hardware? I'm really looking into this puppy for my DD 5 speed XR7 with some 3.73's of course.

Yes the tru trac is very nice. Pretty tough too. It has held up to 1.4x 60' times in my dad's 4100 lb marauder. I can't say it hasn't cracked under pressure but it never failed.
