The J-mod is a valve body alteration (shift kit nonetheless). Lots of hole drilling into the VB
. Most people put in new 1-2 and 2-3 accum pistons when they do the mod as well. It's recommended that you install a tranny cooler and use Mercon V fluid when you do the mod as well (the sooner you do these two, the better).

I plan on doing mine this fall when I actually have a place to do it...oh yeah, and when I can afford to buy an Xcal2; then I can change my shift points. Then again, I don't do trannies, so I'm going to have to have someone do it for me. Just one thing I don't touch at all.
