My trans is old and was beat to hell by my mom before she gave me the car but I was wondering, as I accelerate it will stay at about 2.5k rpms and accelerate even when I floor it eventually the rpms will go higher, I know that the trans is on its way out but is this the torque converter or what because I read that the stock stall is around 1.5k or something close to that. Any ideas on what the problem could be? It accelerates slower also after I cleared the running too rich codes but would this have any affect on the shifting?
