tranny question

In my project i plan on bolting an 89sc 5spd to my fresh carbed 5.0. but for now i dont want to worry about getting my trim and everything i just want to drive the car before summers up. first thing is how long will a stock 3.8 auto last and how hard would it be to put a c4 in a 96lx?

well i wanted a 5spd but if this tranny is going to hold its own then im going to keep it. its all stock and has 81xxx on her. from a v6 and i have no idea what it can do
