2 4R questions (tech)

1) When Jmoding a 2001+ 4.6 trans, I only have to drill 2 or 3 holes for the 300 HP setting........the rest are already bigger. So, does drilling the only 3 holes that are small make it shift up to par according to the Jmod?

2) Will a 4R70W VB (what year?) retrofit back to an AODE?

can you enlighten me how you do it then?

I have a 1997 4R vb with wires, I want to retro it back to a 94 AODE....I will swap the TCC.

Are the wires still the same then, since they swaped in 98?

Well, I sell the complete kit if that will help you.
If you want to learn how to do these yourself then doing it yourself is the way to learn it. Thats what I did by trial and error. My setup is my setup and I am not going to just give it away. It took me a long time to work out what I do.
It seems as though you try to offer a lot of info to people on other sites and talk about your customers. Perhaps its time to do some of your own product development. The factory manuals on the 4R70W and AODE transmissions would be a good place to start.
If you don't understand how these work and what to do then maybe its a bad idea to have customers depending on you for that. You mentioned a spring in another post that is a common factory part and suggested it must be an aftermarket part since you had never seen one. It has to be hard working on things that you don't really know anything about.
Just saying.
