96 4r7ow in a 94 mark vIII

DONT TELL ME TO SEARCH! I have a 96 4r70w out of a 96 bird. Are there any issues or problems I will face installing it in a 94 Mark VIII. Also can I use the Mark VIII tourqe converter.

There shouldn't be any problems. . . .The TCC may have to be changed, but I don't recall. The Mark TC will work if you use the flexplate off of the Mark motor, otherwise, it will not line up properly (bolt pattern).

Currently In the Short Bus Garage:
2 - '94 T-bird LX's 4.6L (one with 300,000+ miles and one with 200,000+ miles)
1 - '97 Mark VIII LSC - INTECH V8 (120,000+ miles)
1 - '97 F150 XLT 4x4 Flareside, 4.6L (130,000+ miles) - Currently being dismantled and rebuilt with upgrades!
1 - '00 Mustang GT (likes to accelerate with the brake on!), 4.6L (60,000+ miles - only comes out when I need to get somewhere fast.)

oh yeah, and they all have 4R70W's

You must use the TCC from the Mark trans. The one from the 96 won't work in a 94

I have to admit that this was an easy one to search for and a search would have gotten the answer without a new thread
