what clutch?

alright im at the point of buying a clutch for the swap. its an 89 sc tranny behind a lightly built 5.0. what clutch do you recomend

1996 Ford Thunderbird LX EFI Swapped 311 5spd "TT 5oh project"
1998 Ford Taurus SE 24v Duratec auto "DD"
1966 Ford Galaxy 500 352 Cruise-O-Matic "Restoration Car"

Spec II unless you drive the car everyday because it does have a heavier pedal then I would go with the Spec 1.

well the car will be a summer car and im thinnking it will see alittle track to
so spec 1 should be fine

i'm using a CF 2 clutch on my '91... Been doing pretty good in there... I amit it is bolted to a mildly tired highish milage 302.. but i can still do 2500rpm drops in 2nd gear and it just graps

Clutch pedal is good.. good feel and all that crap...

Also i'm used to stock sachs and KEP stage 1 clutches in 911's and type 1 VW's.. so..

Go with a Mcleod.....thats if they make one for your application.
