Still havent figured out this issue....

Im still getting a low grinding sound i believe from my transimission, Its most noticible during cold start up while idleing, and raising the rpms has no effect on the noise.

What parts of the transmission are moving while the car is in park?

I'm not familiar with that situation, are you sure it is from the transmission. Are you sure it's not a slightly low fluid situation causing it to suck air and make those noises. I'd think it would have to be a pump issue if it is in the transmission.

+1 on checking for low fluid. Mine made a weird grinding type noise and I saw that I was leaking some fluid at the radiator. Replaced the radiator and checked the fluid for color issues and then filled her up to the right level and it was gone.

Mine is doing the same but is also downshifting hard sometimes. The fluid level looks to be ok. And sometimes to get it to go in reverse I have to nearly floor it then it jumps. Any ideas.
