AOD in 94 sc??

i have a friend that has a built AOD out of his 5.0 mustang and the question i have is will it work on my 3.8 sc with a 4r70w? i know the 4r70w is a computer controlled trany but the 93 sc came with the AOD. so will it work? i dont have much time left with the trany thats in it right now, it slipps and shudders at low rpms. Any info would really help me.

You will need to disable the section of the computer controlling the tranny or find a computer from a stick car. The torque converter will need to be addressed and you will also need to integrate (or graft) the tv cable for the AOD to the TB assembly on the 94 car. You can get 4r70W's for so little money in any bone yard that it probably isnt worth the effort to change it over.
