8 clutch stack Good Mod?

Well guys i have trac-loc unit with about 100k on the clock, I am assuming that it is going to be needing a rebuild, before i drop it in my car. Anyone have any experience with the 8 clutch stack mod? The clutch, steel, clutch, steel, clutch, steel, clutch setup or stay with OEM shim, clutch, steel, steel, clutch, steel, steel, clutch pretty much a street only car, so i was wondering if thats too much grip? just looking for some suggestions/input, thanks!
