rear end swap question

I have a 96 Thunderbird LX sport.. I am looking at building a new rear end for the car and I am looking at buying an aluminum case. Does anyone know if the case out of a 93 mark viii is the same as the one in my car?

Yes, you can use the Mark VIII case. It is the same except it is AL and not cast iron.

Other than all of the Mark VIII cases are aluminum and 8.8 (V6 NA cars can have a 7.5 inch rear) yes.

Yeah, I was told otherwise, that is why I said that V6 cars can have 7.5. It seems like maybe it has to do with ABS or something else, all V6 NA cars I have seen have been 7.5, but I haven't seen as many as many here.
