well here is my .02

They are nice rims, regardless of who says what! Everyone has their own taste. And some members here will even go as far as saying that those are vato rims or a good fit for a mexican lowrider, well guess what, I'm 100% mexican, and I used to have 100 spokes on a previous ride. I like them, but also don't expect to run hard, do burnouts, or hit corners like an animal, as those types of rims are not meant for that. They were designed for looks as most wheels are, but heck, as I've beat this horse, go for it!

I think I had 60 spoke wheels on another car and hated cleaning them, hated the flex I could feel when cornering etc. That being said it did look nice with them, but it was a vintage Jaguar...

They were 15*6's, you gotta remember the XJ6 is a real heavy weight though, ~5000 lbs the more spokes the more rigidity I believe.

I am about as cracker as one could get, my wife is hispanic and often refers to me as the token white boy...I like the look of the black t-bird with the 100 spoke rims. The only thing I don't thing is a good idea is when people get them in gold...

Of course do what you think looks good, but I don’t like them on a Thunderbird. I only like those type of rims on vintage European cars really.

If they are the proper offset, you put on tires that are close to the stock size, if you like them, they don't look bad. There is a tasteful looking dark green bird close to me with 20 inch gold 100 spoke wheels. I would ride in it but wouldn't say I owned it.

no issues, had 17" with a low profile black wall, and of course, back in those days, I cruised a lot. No racing. But never had a flex issue, or any warping. But yeah, CLEANING THEM SUCKS!!!

They look clean on your 'Bird. Wouldn't be my first choice, but you gotta go with your tastes!

Mods? Do the ones in the garage waiting to go on the car count?

i think the problem you have with wheels is a very small one......its the tires. The tires you have right now are WAY TOO SMALL for the application they are on. Do those hood rich dubs have true knockoff hubs? or are they el fake-o?

I'm an old fart so I have always liked True Spoke rims on classic cars.

Having said that, Have you ever owned True Spoke rims?
You will spend HOURS ( not kidding) cleaning them.

No thats Kermit The Pimp riding along on his brake rotors because those true spokes were the last rims available.
