Why?
I ran 245/45/r18 before just fine

Tire Size Comparison
Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
245/45-18 4.3in 13.3in 26.7in 83.8in 756 0.0%
255/35-20 3.5in 13.5in 27.0in 84.9in 746 0.0%

diameter would be 0.3-0.4 inch bigger... i cant imagine that making much difference

here is what cudaz101 said tho

That wheel spec. will be identical to a 9" wide wheel with a +36MM offset. Will fit no problem. Keep in mind that the 27" tall tires will rub in the rear fender lips and in front lock to lock on the Inner plastic skirt.

My Stock vs new 20's

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
225/60-16 5.3in 13.3in 26.6in 83.7in 757 0.0%
255/35-20 3.5in 13.5in 27.0in 84.9in 746 1.5%

i can see it rub MAYBE when suspension pulls down or when i turn the wheel right/left alot.
ill post picture in a few weeks I hope it wont be too bad.
