I just last week put on a set of Firestone Firehawk Indy 500. 235/60/R15. From a company in south florida. Cost me 308 and change including shipping. Ofcourse I live in Florida too so shipping came to be only 20 for me, tires were 65 each. I haven't broken them free yet, but I am not trying too hard either. Really good reviewa on the net, and I love them. Not home right now to get the site. I had to change the speedo gear in the tranny to compensate for the difference. You just need to look at what you can afford. Oh, and cost me another 100 for mount, balance, alinement(sp?), and shop fees.

Shaggy,

Are you sticking with the 15"ers? I'm using mine as winter only rims. I bought 16" sport rims and have 245/50/16s and I love the ride and handling.

On the 15's the best tires I had were Yokohama Avid S/Ts.

Shaggy, my advice is to start by calling Tire Rack and ask them how wide you can go and what sizes you can get for your 15s. Out here, Kumhos work very well, but in their 17" tires.

I went to 16" for summer because I couldn't get a wider tire I could afford and like the performace of in the 15" size.

For the winter, I'll run the narrower 15"s with Dayton Winterforce(?) snows on them because they do dig down and hold the road.
