More companies should ship the wheels undrilled to let places like you drill them to suit whatever they need. It expands your product line and sells more wheels for them at a lower price. Seems like a win/win to me.

Does that entire center section snap into place like a center cap? I don't see any lines for a small diameter cap on those.

Fellas, I am sorry about the latency in getting prices up. I will have them up before the weekend.

YES they have the lip as in the photos. It is a very pronounced lip becasue of the spoke design.

YES a 20X10 +45mm offset will fit in the rear.

Appreciate your patience.

Thanks, Brad. I'll let you know by the first of the year if I'll do it. I've been waiting for a set of wheels for a long time. The ones I like are no longer made, and these were the first ones to jump out at me. I really don't want to sit on it too long in case these go out too. I did some research on the web and can't find anywhere that has prices on them. I'm going to assume that they are going to be similarly priced as the other wheels by Ruff.

Depending on price it will be the R930 Hyper Black or the Cobra R Gunmetal if the R930 are out of my range.

OK, so I know you and I have beat this to death through PM's... but one last kick of the horse... what's the biggest tire you could fit on that rear wheel, with rolled fender lips?

Joel, a the Bird & Mark have little in common with respect to rear tire clearance when it comes to width limits. I think that you could get away with wider than a 275mm tire with a tucked 10" wheel. I think a 295mm rear would not be out of the question but I have not test fitted yet either a 285-30-20 tire would fit though.

Tires I have on hand.
http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.p...light=cudaz101

Also...Keep in mind that the guy with the Mark that was linked went with a 9.5" front which is why the lip looks too deep. I personally don't like the deep lip in the front but thats just me. Some lip just not THAT much...heh

Cheers,

Brad

Yea Will, these wheels are setup to be blanks because they don't have an exposed lug pattern. Long as you are sportin' some sort of cap you can stock wheels that already have a finish on them and drill them without having to send them off the a chrome shop or paint shop, etc...Chrome & Paint work done after the manufacturing process is what drives costs way up unfortunatley which is why exposed lug wheels are pre-drilled.

Cheers,

Brad

Yea, these wheels are not cheep. They could be a lil cheeper if we were willing to purchase hundres of them. But this would only affect prices by 5% so its not worth it to us from any standpoint, business or otherwise. We always do the absolute best we can with pricing, but unfortunatley not everything we source out can be priced like a clearance item...I can only wish that was the case...heh

Hope everyone has some great Holidays!! I am prolly out until the Wednesday.

Cheers!!!

Brad,
I honestly thought they would be more. I was just hoping they would be cheaper.
I certainly was not complaining about the prices.

I've got so much I need to do to my Cougar (head gaskets, all new front suspension and all new shocks), that it's cutting into what I can afford to spend on bling.

I would like to know the weights of the 18 x 8.5" and the 18 x 9.5". I am considering the R931 Black with chrome inserts. I would also like to know what the lip is like for the front wheel. I like a lip in the rear but I don't like much lip in the front. A picture or measurement of some sort would help out. I also assume that the offset for the 18 x 9.5" is +45mm, correct? Thanks.

Russell,
Correction...The 931 fronts are 18X8 w/+35mm offset. So the lip would be even less pronounced.

Weight....I am told that the 18X8 is 25lbs & the 18X9.5 is 26lbs...No surprise to me if they are a pound heavier than that though....I will weigh them myself when I have some on my shop floor. I would rather not post weight until I can actually weigh them myself.

The offset of the wheels posted is current and correct...A 9.5" wheel with a +35MM offset is just fine...It only exceeds the area I consider the fledge line by 1mm...I am still going to test fit because I can get them in a +40mm offset but I believe that would require a tied up brake cable based on other applications we have done.

So....More information and photos to come as soon as I get my own personal set. As I said before, I will not be stocking these wheels in the shop for specific reasons I am not going to get into. Regardless the manufacturer still does not have them in the wharehouse as of yet.

Appreciate the interest. Will be reporting info asap.

Cheers,

Brad
