17" SVT wheels...what tires?

Any idea what is the size of 17" SVT wheels? Will 255 fit that wheel?

I know 245/50/17 is perfect but....

What about 255/50/17? Will they fit nicely to 1.5" lowered car?

I just thought for getting that size...

That is a part of the problem...I don't have the specs of the SVT wheel. That's why I'm asking it. Someone who have those wheels, please let me know!

I've got 275x45-17 on MotorSport "R" wheels on the back of mine from Brad, the front I'm running 245x45-17, I"m lowered 2 inches.. I've got air bags in the back of mine though, to cut down that wheel hop.. I believe mine were 17x9 wheels, with TBird offset..

I've got 245/50 on my SVT wheels. According to the tire manufacturer's specs, (a number of them), that was the widest tire they found acceptable on the 7" rim.
