Skinny Fronts

Does any one make a skinny front wheel for drag racing to fit a '95 T-Bird, or do you have to do a hub swap to the mustang's bolt pattern? I really don't want to do that b/c I don't want to have to buy new "street" wheels"

Just be sure to mount genuine skinny racing tires on the spare rim... can't race on a temp spare!

The ultimate would be some of those hard to find aluminum SC spare wheels.

I have the Mustang hub swap so I found 2 Lincoln Towncar 15" aluminum spare rims at the junkyard for $7 a piece and mounted 165/80/15 Kumho's on them.

kustomizingkid,

Were those aluminum Mark VIII spare wheels 15" or 16"?

Mark VIII spare should be 16, I tried to put a 15 inch spare over my Sport brakes and they don't clear the caliper, and those are the same brakes as a Mark VIII.

I have weld draglites on my 95. I did the hub, caliper and PBR rotor swap.
The welds were 15X4. I had to grind the calipers a ton to get the wheels to fit without a hugh spacer. Now I have 1/16" spacer made out of the metal traction control things from lincolns (early 90's style). Rear axle of course. The Welds fit inside the fenders with 215/75-15 tires.
Sorry but one day I will be able to post pictures.
They fit the same way on a 94 mustang.
