Test Fit

I found these wheels and tires in the garage and decided to test fit them on the Town Car.

They are 18x9 Chrome FR500s with 255/45-18 Nitto 555s.

The stock wheels are 225/60-17 with Michelin tires.

What do you think?

Personally, I like the stock wheels better for a Town Car. It just doesn't look right to me to have sports car wheels on a luxo-barge. But... it is your car do what you think looks best.

I think I would have to see a full shot of the car with them on.

FR500's are always a good looking wheel though.

LOL, I was lazy and only fitted the front. One weekend when I have some time, I plan to install all four and try the ride.

This is the car...

Would probibly look pretty good but I agree that we need to see at least one side with both wheels on it to get the full of effect how it would look.

The MN12 is not a luxobarge. It is a personal sports car.

A personal sports car with 5 seats and weighing 4k pounds? Sounds more like a luxobarge to me.....

No, a luxobarge is a luxurious four door. As in classy, not sporty.

Now you just need some 18s with white stripe for the FR500s. I think it looks freaking awesome btw.

Look out Marauder guys... next thing he'll be adding a cold air intake.

I like 'em, didn't think I would but I do.

LOL

With all the extra room under the hood and behind the grille, I've been thinking of putting an intercooled Vortech setup in there!

See? I knew there'd be somethin' bangin' around in there. That'd certainly be something different to lift the hood on.

You sure you don't just want to go on and give me the Blue Flame so you have time for all these other projects.....? I promise you'll be happy with the way Kenne and I treat her and you can visit with her a couple times a year when I come see my baby brother in Parkersburg.
