Stock wheels at pick & pull

The pick & pull yard near me always has a ton of cars, all makes, all models, etc. yet, none of these cars have factory wheels on them...every once in a while I will see one that has it's wheels still, but it's few and far between it seems...and I mean WHEELS not steelies that may or may not have wheel covers on them...all I occasionally see is that they will have a few sets of funky old aftermarket wheels with worn out tires...but say thunderbird/cougar/mark viii or anything else...the factory wheels on 99% of the cars are nowhere to be found....what's yout experiances with this?

I know that my local pick and pull takes off aluminum rims as soon as they get them in on a car and store them for scrap.

Garage
If they didn't the crackheads would be in there at night stealing them.

My local yard has them in a building; you have to ask.

I asked....never really can get a straight answer from the crack heads who work there...they always point me towards the "custom wheel sets" that they have oh well..I'm not in the market for wheels anymore anyway....just gonna have my fanblades re-finished.
