go to a rim website such as discount tire and enter in 01 lincoln ls and see what bolt pattern they are they must be 5 x 4.25 in order to be compliant with birds and cougars

Sounds like you would need some kind of spacer. http://forums.tccoa.com/search.php?searchid=2132690

Yep.. you're right. Will need a spacer. LS wheels have a 60mm offset and the Bird takes 35-40. Good thought I guess....

Back to Craigslist...

01 Lincoln LS Wheels

Thanks so much for your reply

Just so I am understanding correctly, you are saying that the 16 inch wheels/tires will fit with no problems?

Thanks again

I had 16" wheels from a Lincoln LS on my '96 - I had to run spacers. The inner lip of the rim will not clear the spindle without them.
Plus, they look "tucked in" even with the spacers, so the overall aesthetic impact isn't really all that good.

That's what I thought.... Looking at getting some Aftermarket wheels and tires now. Found a nice wheel at Tirerack that's in my price range.

Sorry to barge in, but does anyone have a picture with LS wheels on a T-Bird? I'd like to see how they look.

I think there's one buried in this thread http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.php?t=98026 somewhere in the middle.
