Thumbs up Steelies

I really like the steel rims that are on the police interceptor crown vics, and I would like to put these on my Cougar, however, I was wondering if anyone knew of companies that sell these. I am also wondering if there are rims out there that are similar that I could use on the car. Thanks!

The crown vic has the mustang bolt pattern I believe (5x4.5)..

If you have the stock hubs, you will need to have a 5x4.25 bolt pattern..

The taurus has the same bolt pattern as the tbird, but you will need to figure out if the offset is going to work. I had a set of Jaguar S type wheels on my old tbird, and the offset didn't work and I had to use unsafe spacers.

I don't recommend going that route.

Well do you nkow of a company that can custom make them? I know my dad had 17" steelies made for his 46 chevy with the oddball chevy 6-lug pattern, and they were 10" wide. They had a stock look with a huge tire. So, that is what I am wanting, like a 17" that will tuck a 295mm tire by playing with offset and the rim lip and backspacing. So do you know of any companies that can do this and manufacture it with my bolt pattern? My dad forgot the company name.
