tire size

Can I go with 215/60/15 on a 92 tbird sport? spec is 215/65/15.

A 215/60R15 is going to look very short and skinny in the wheelwell, especially if you're at the stock ride height. I'd recommend sticking close to the stock diameter and looking at a slightly wider section width.

try 235/60/15 or 245/60/15

Yup. The SCs and later Sports had 16s with 225/60/16 tires.
