Has anyone tried 295/45/17 MT on the rear?

Has anyone tried 295/45/17 MT on the rear? I am running 275/60/15 at the strip, and 275/40/17 on the street, but need wider and taller. The 295/45/17 would take care of both, and help with my traction problems.

They call for a min of 17x9 1/2 wheel, but a lot of Mustang guys are running them on 17x9 with great results. Has anyone fit them on a Tbird?

Gimme about a month and a half and I'll tell ya how they do on the track, when I get some. I'll be getting that exact size.

Post up pics, if you do. I'd be interested to see how they look on a 17x9.
