Steel wheels and trim rings?

Am I the only one who likes the look of plain black steel wheels with chrome trim rings and lugs?

I need to replace tires that came with the TBird soon and thought about swapping out the stock 96 wheels while I'm at it.

While headed home today I saw an SS Impala with the black steel wheels and trim rings and it looked quite nice. Better than a lot of the aftermarket custom wheels out there IMO.

I don't particularly mind steelies but chrome trim rings? Yuck. Modern steel wheels with the vent circles just don't look good dressed up like that. Old school slotted steelies? Oh yes. Old school styled steelies(IE rally/road wheels ect. depending on manufacturer)? OMG yes! but the blown up space saver dotted wheels just aren't that goood looking IMO.

The ones from a newer Taurus or even Explorer police package should be in our bolt pattern, I think they're 17" too like the last P71s
