New tires 245/45/18

I'm looking into new tires for my 95 lx, anyone have some knowledge for best bang for the buck? I'm running the bullit style wheels. Tires are going crazy just like everything else.

I've had good luck with General Gmax AS-03's on my old Mustang, and General tires have treated me well (been on my last three cars). They have them on Tire Rack for $138-160/tire depending on load rating.

I haven't priced them lately but I've run the Sumitomo HTR Z III tires in that size for the front on my car for a while. I think - for the size - they're a great tire at a great price. They have a treadwear rating of 300.

Looks like they're $129 each in that size.

Mods? Yea, I got mods ...
Air silencer delete, warp drive, dilithium crystals, flux capacitor, Slingshot Rubber band power adder, Moonshine & Gas, Leaf Blower Supercharger, Hamster Wheel & Hamster, Energizer Bunny generating 1.21 gigawatts, Mr. FusionŽ Home Energy Reactor, hover conversion and a sextant celestial navigation system (The original GPS)
