Chrome 97 wheels

http://imgur.com/nrUS2gt I'm new to tccoa and am wondering about the wheels that came with my car. I've never seen another set of chrome 97 wheels. Was this a special option?

I've seen a few sets, not sure what the option was that earned them .... theyre still seen on a couple local cars. 15x6.5 Chrome Fans. I'ld own a set if offered.

Those where a factory option in 1997, they are showcased in the 97 brochure as being somewhat of a big deal. Just ford using up leftovers from 93-95 (which where not chrome) also, these wheels where 97 only, the 96 had salad shooters, fanblades unavailable that year.

"Salad Shooters" ..... LOL, maybe it's common but that's the first time I had heard them called such.

Yeah, I can see it too.

I like the 21 spoke wheels; everyone else seems to hate them.

I'm rocking the Chrome Swirls off a 98 Mark VIII on my Tbird; I need to get some pix.

I like the chrome Fanblades; I'd run 'em.
