custom sable wheels?

I found some custom 18" wheels a guy had on his sable they're 7.5" wide and have an offset of 42. The tires are 215/45/18. Id like to go with something a little taller but not sure exact size. Are those wheels gonna fit or be a little too close to the spindle?

The latter. You want these for looks I presume? Because narrow high offset wheels make these cars look like they're standing on tippy toes

Yes, those wheels should fit just fine. The tires will be a little short and narrow for an MN12 though. With a 7.5" wheel, I would go with a 225/50/18, which is just slightly taller than the stock size.

Focus wheels are even higher offset, 50 for the 17", 55 for the 18". That makes them sit deeper inside the wheelwells.

on 18" wheels, a 35-36 offset is very good.

Well i dont really want to put skinny tires on it, but the wheels/tires were a good price so I figured id see if they would work. I like my fan blades but need a change and would like a little wider wheel. Im gonna go with the cougar 7 spoke wheels with some 235/60/16 tires. I want to paint them either black or charcoal grey, not sure which would look better with the pumice metallic paint. Is there a t-bird center cap that will fit those wheels?
