How could I find out the stock tire size for my cougar? Right now i have 225's on there, but a lot of people i talk to say they had 215s on stock, so i'm just wondering if i'm running a bigger tire than i should or not. Thanks!

It should be on the inside of your passenger side door frame (for lack of a better word). The sticker on my '97 Bird has two tire sizes -- 205/70-15 and 215/70-15. From what I understand the 205s were standard equipment and the 215s were optional.

Here is a Web site that has a calculator that can help you figure out how changing tire size will affect your speedo.
