Well here it is. 255/50-17 BFG KDWS

Got the BFG g-Force, Was going to get the new Kumho Ecsta ASX, but needed to order them.

I like the look, not too short of a sidewall.

I had these in 245/45-17 before and liked them.

I agree Richard. They're the best fit for our cars that I've found. I just like em!

Additionally,
The ride is nice. With a little more flex in the sidewall they are a bit more compliant to small road variations.
Also, if you look at the 3/4 view, they fill out the 9" wide rim better too.

They fit nice, I do have a small body defect on the passenger side that has pushed the fender in a little, it rubs, but it should be fine once I get the body work done.
Otherwise, much better than any of the 245/45-17 tires I have had on it. or the 275/40-17 s from way back.

Just over $300 from Discount

$300? That must be for 2 tires, cause I paid like $130 each plus shipping when I bought mine.

Oops, yes, that was for a pair on the rears.
I think they would work fine on the front. I had 245/45-17s on their before.

Those tires look great on those 17" rims. Those are the same OEM tires that are on my '04 Marauder except they're 18". I think the 17" rims look the best on the Tbirds. Currently on my tbird, I still have the OEM 16" sport wheels and run the 255/50 Firestone Firehawks. I don't think BFG makes a 255/50 for 16" rims. After I put on the AED I was always breaking traction especially on wet pavement until I found the Firehawks. Anyway, I sent this link to a guy who bought my buddies Tbird. He's fixing it up to be a show car and he want's to replace the 15" on it and asked my advice on wheels and tires. Once again good looking set of wheels. My wife just walked by and said, "That sure is a pretty white bird."

i've got 255/45/17 kuhmo's all around. looked terrible before i lowered the car, but now with eibach's it looks great. i do wish they filled out the width of the rim better though.

On the rear, V8 springs, one coil cut off, then airbags with about 5-8psi.
On the front SC springs with 1/2 a coil cut off.
I'd say its a little more than an inch lower. In the pics above, I am running 15 psi in the bags since the fender was rubbing on one side. Since then, have fixed that and it sits about a half inch lower than you see there.

I was going to get 255/50/17 KDWS's to replace my 245/45/17 KDWS's but I got one hell of a deal on 255/45/17 KDWS's, 300$ for ALL 4 and they still have a few rubber nubbies on them yet (Mustang owner bought them and didn't like them, he put 200 miles on them)
