Question Fuzion Tires???

I have, just this week been introduced to the Fuzion brand tire, I think its made by Bridgestone/Firestone, but not 100% sure.
I have a '97 Sport TBird with the factory 16" wheels, and am looking for a new set of tires, and have recently been told that this car came from the factory with 22560ZR16 tires, I had been looking at tires that were not the "Z" rated, and tire shops seem to feel that I really should put the proper rated tires back on it after the non-Z rated Cooper Lifeliners that are on it now.
I am seeking your opinions as to what I should do, we generally don't drive more than 10k miles a year, and are told that the "Z" rated tires will only last about 30k miles which is OK because these Coopers that were brand new 3 years ago are starting to crack and the tread still looks new.
Anyone running these Fuzion tires? I've been quoted $365.00 out the door including the road hazard warranty for the 22560ZR16 size. Thanks!

They are a new product of Bridgestone / Firestone. They are branded as neither make, just Fuzion ZRi. Primarily they are aimed at the sport compact market, but they do offer some larger sizes for bigger cars too. People up here I know with the tires installed on late model Mustangs are pleased with them. Just a note, they do appear to be a bit small for the size, compared to other models of tires. I have some 245-45-17 and 275-40-17 in stock at the dealership, and they are definitely narrower in overall section width than other tires I've seen.

Interesting info, I know that tires will vary in size from manufacturer to manufacturer, but I've never really compaired more than two tires of the same size at the same time.
What other "Z" rated tires would anyone recomend for use on the Sport TBird?
