17" RIms and Drag Slicks???

Maybe I am not looking in the correct places but I cannot find slicks for 17's. Do they not make them or am I not looking in the right places?

Please give me any information that can help, Thanks Guys

Hi

Go to BF's website. They sell both Comp T/A and G Force Drag radials.

You can order them through most places. I now sears will get them for you at about 300 a pair

Good luck

Call me kooky, but why do you WANT 17" slicks? You can't drive on them all the time, so just put a set on some 15" wheels and don't worry about it.

You can get 17" DR's. But the only 17" slicks are top fuel/funny car/alcohol car slicks. Start cutting and tubbing.

Former owner of 94 Bird with DOHC 4.6L swapped from a mark VIII

2011 CTS-V Wagon
1968 Torino was an original 289, C4, fully documented numbers matching car. Now: DOHC 4.6L/T-56 swapped, Cobra intake, IMRC delete, BBK long tubes and H pipe. Dynotech Aluminum Driveshaft, 9" rear with TrueTrac and 4.11's.

Entirely too much work....

I dont have a race car...yet

Thanks though

I'll stick with the stock 15's, I just forgot I still had them after I put on the 17's

Would you reccommed 17 inch DR's or Go 15 inch Drag Slicks...to get the best 60 ?

15" Hoosiers. Less weight than the 17's with drag radials, and drag radial wear out really fast when you drive on them everyday.

Anybody know if the 15" Mustang wheel will fit over the Cobra rear rotor setup?

I'd much rather buy some 15" Mustang wheels with some DR's for the strip, than have to find 16" Mustang wheels.
