Wheel Sizes

What size do you think look good on a bird? I was thinking about getting a new set of wheels and was just wanting to get some opinions.

I love my 18's, still has a great ride and looks puurrty! The car rides better with the 18's than it did with the stock wheels and tires...

Went from 215/70/R15's to 245/45/R18's and their is a unbelievable ride difference...

i have the stock 15" salad shooters (why they are called taht is beyond me), and a set of 17" chrome cobra R's are on the way, i personally think the 17" looks the best, my brother has 18's on his and they look a little too big, so like a 17' with 245/45/17 or 255/45/17 i think looks the best

In my opinion, 18" rims don't look that small on our cars, even with ground effects.

18's are as large as I'd go on an MN12. I have 16's right now, and am downgrading to 15's after I do my bolt pattern swap. If I was going for looks, I would have to go with 17's. Tires are a lot cheaper than 18's, and they still look really good under a TBird.

I love my 17" Crazy Leg Wheels.... they really look good on my dark blue Bird, not sure how they'd look on a light colored vehicle though.

After the week I'm having, I may go for stock rims, though.... Figure I'm tired of advertising to the thieves!!!

WHAT A FRIGG'N WEEK!!!

I'm planning on having a staggered wheel setup. Using either Cobra R's or Ronal LZ's

17x7 up front and 18x9 in the back. Sure I can't rotate tires.. but who cares. It'll look badass. ^^

Sorta off topic, but what's the bolt pattern on the Fox-body Birds?

I really think that it all depends on tire size and the wheels style. I have 17" Konig Theory rims charcoal centers with a machined lip on 225/55/17s. Everyone asks me if they are 18s....except that 1 ricer who thought they were 15s....

Please enjoy my new and improved short signature- Russ

Thank you for the great response! So, it looks like 17" are the big winner. Well, I will take all your comments into consideration, thank you again.
