Thumbs up Seven-spoke Cougar wheel restoration

To anyone who's interested. I used Dupli-Color's wheel paint on these wheels. They have over 200k miles and the factory silver finish had completely worn away.
Here is a before shot, an after shot and a shot of my "wet-sanding booth" (Hey, I'm in college. )

Haha - nice paint booth !

Look like new again. Are you planning on doing the clear coat as well or is it on there already (hard to tell by pic)?

I used the dark grey Duplicolor paint this spring to do the wheels on both my Cougar and LS (Cougar pic not updated yet).

It's pretty cool what $15 in paint and supplies can do for a car.

I haven't yet decided if I want to clear them or not. I'm pretty sure I will, as everybody has been recommending it to me.
The picture hides quite a few flaws. The consistency of the metallic finish changes... even though I kept the can steady on the final coat.
