Well you say you are driving this daily, I know NY gets snow, are you planning on using a 3800 stall TC in the snow?
If this is summer/good weather driving, then buy some nice tires for up front, and put the wider Kumho's in the back. The kumho's are cheap enough where you can beat on them for the summer, and when the car goes away for the winter, you can purchase new tires if NEEDED in the spring.
I don't really rotate my tires from front to rear anymore. The front tires will last a lot longer, while I can beat on the rear ones, not having to worry about replacing all four.
But, then again...you gotta have the money to go fast, I don't know what your financial situation is, but that 3800 stall TC will want some grip, I would try to buy some spare rims and put DR's on them for the track. BUT, like I said, I don't have enough information/or the knowledge of what your plans are.
People who have the BFG's will say BFG, people with the Kumho's will say Kumho. Langton loves the KH11, Obucna loves the BFG, both trustworthy people, I don't see how you can make a bad decision.
