X300 Jaguar rims: fitment?

X300 refers to the XJs between 1995-1997. I know a few people have tried Jag rims, and i've hear they needed spacers. Has anyone fitted rims from X300s?

Those cars have 5 on 4-3/4" (commonly used on GM) pattern I believe.

S-Type and X-Type is a 5x108 like the Mn12 cars, and most have too much backspacing, requiring a spacer, but I am pretty sure it can be done.

Tire Rack and Discount Tire both show the car as having 5 on 4.75" ... so unless you can make Corvette hubs go on your car, those wheels won't work.

S-Type and X-Type are smaller platforms that started after the car being asked about. They do have 5 on 4.25", like MN-12.

Other way'round. I just bought an XJR , and I was hoping against hope that the Cougars 17x9s with R compounds would fit it. Should take delivery tomarrow, I'll take some measurements.

I'm also curious as to what M90 tricks can be applied to it.
