275/35/18

Is a 235/75/18 too wide to run on the rear with stock springs?

I'd be running these on a set of 18x9 FR500 that cudaz101 is selling.

This is new territory for me & I was just going by what I saw in my Summit Racing catalog.

I have a '97 Mounataineer and know LT tire sizes like the back of my hand but nothing about perfromance tires.

Plus I'm old school. When I was in high school bias ply tires were still available
F-40, G-40 ect.

What are you doing for the back? Did you decide on a 275 or 285? I'd go 245-45f/275r or 255-45f/285r.

KC?!... come to the summer meet! Also, we're hitting KCIR on opening grudge night the first week of april.

I'm just in the planning stage right now. It will be a few months or maybe even next year on the wheels & tires. I have to spend about $1500 on new tires, brakes/rotors F&R and front suspension replacement on my '97 Mountaineer first.

When is the meet & first grudge night? I'm only about a mile from KCIR I can hear the cars doing burn outs from my house
