width of 16" tires

My car

As you can see I have lots of room under the fenders
These are 215/60/16s
My question.....what is the widest 16" tires that will fit in here.
7" rim (I think) and I'd like them a bit taller
275/60/16s, will they fit on the rear?
Thanx

I think the most you can go in the front is 255/50,and the rear I am not to sure of.

Your real limit is going to be the 7 or 7.5" wide wheel. I think you can't do anything more than 235 on a 7" wheel.

No, they're 7". Any stock MN-12 16" wheels (aside from the spares) are 7" wide.

And you can run 255/50/16's on them. In fact I've got a set on Ebay right now.

But I wouldn't go any wider than that.

Good looking car by the way.

Rim width

95xbird

Measure any wheel inside the lip edges for actual width.
