Driving lights on a Cougar

I searched the web site but could not find anyone that has installed driving lights on a 94 Cougar. Trouble I see is the opening in the lower grill is only 1.5" high and 6.5" long. Not a lot of room for a driving light.

Any suggestions?

I did like these ones:

But they are just a bit big (high).

1994 Mercoury Cougar XR7 - 150k and still going.

I've had too many other cars to mention...

Driving lights, similar to fog lights? I did this on my 94 shortly after I got it...

They're cheapie Wal-Mart lights.

Excellent post. I did not find that one.

That helps a lot to get this going.

Thanks again!

Maybe I will do a write up on this for the next person to use.

The fogs are stock SC. They're mounted differently now to how they were in the thread Brandon linked. I clearanced the inner bumper a bit so I could properly adjust them , I also moved them further forward(had to cut the bumper cover) and mounted them directly to the bumper support as well.

For some reason I instantly though he was asking about the headlights and not the fog lights haha
