roush chin splitter

I got an idea to put a roush mustang chin splitter on my 1996 cougar. The part is on jegs catalog. The part number is 421391. I want to do this cuz a lot of us have the same body kit on our cars. What do you guys think?

I think a splitter is a neat idea, and I'm all about making mix n match parts fitting seamlessly, but I don't think that one would fit well at all, the Mustang nose is shaped nothing like the Cougar and the overhang is shorter.

Yes I agree. I think with some carbon fiber I could fill in the gaps. The biggest gaps will be on the corner of the bumper.

I too have been looking for something along these lines for my '95 T-Bird. However, I agree with Matt. Wont fit, and even if it did, it wont look right.

I too think it's a great idea. Want to fabricate my own at home from scratch. Yet perhaps some item like this would be a starting point. I'd want to know the exact measurements of the piece before purchase tho'.

1995 Thunderbird LX 4.6l 97 Headlamps/Hood All Red Tails Muffler/Resonator Delete
2004 Tahoe 5.3 4x4
2008 Acadia Limited AWD

...still looking for a clean, low mileage, rust free 96/97 Thunderbird 4.6
