Mark 8 Wiper Arms

Replaced my Cougars wiper arms with ones off a 98 Mark VIII that are J hook.
I posted in the Facebook group asking if they would fit, didn't get an answer. Also couldn't find any answers here if they would fit.

Got them in today and they seem to fit fine, slightly different angle but they park in the correct location. The pin connection always seemed flimsy to me and doesn't look as nice. I like the way these look, especially from inside the car. I used a 22" and 20" blade

I'll have to grab a coupld of Mark VIII arms then.

I have one spare set; they need painting.

The set on Ruby Jean (the 1991 Cougar) don't hold the passenger side down properly, and I'm not sure they're working right on the driver's side either.

Huh, not often these days I learn something new about these cars but I never knew this. Cool find!

I seem to remember the Mark 8 wipers on my old Mark 8 used to "park" themselves lower when turned off.
