Hey Yall,

Well today, my friend Matt and I took to shaving my car. We removed the black bumper strip on the doors... and also the chrome panels below them. OH man....was that hard gettin the chrome crap off of there!!!! I found out that when my mom got the car fixed from when it was wrecked....they didnt paint under the moldings.. So now, I have a black stripe on one of the doors. lol Im thinking about shaving out the middle of the brake lights that doesnt light up. Ive already gotten rid of the mercury cougar ls on the back.

I think that either tommorrow, or sometime this week... were going to the junk yards to look for a 96-97 front end, rear end, grill, headlights, and hood. Will all of those parts just bolt on up, or what needs to be done?

let me know what ya think!

Now it's time to lose those door handles hehe

I'm going to remove the side moldings as well, but I will be addressing in front of the front wheel and behind the rear wheel as well, smoothing out the 'continuation' of the molding. If that isn't done, it doesn't look quite right IMO.

you need to get some solenoids and tie them into the stock latch so that the door will open when it actuated. remove the door handels and weld in the patch panels. So lots of little tack welds, skiping around the patch until its totally done. keep it cool as you go i use compressed air. it will keep the warping
