i was thinking,,... Has anyone done this? Replaced Cougar Grill..?

i was thinking it whould be really easy to make a Flat Mold of my Front grill out of fiber glass, and just take the Grill out, So it has the same look of the earlyer t birds.
where the hood comes all the way down.
I want to make a mold of it and make it perfectly smooth, and paint it, and make it screw in to the same spot the grill did.
Has anyone done this?
The only problem i think ill run into is whould it still provide enough Cold air to the radiator?
and you guys think it will look good?
THanks
Ben

Can somebody do a photoshop of this?

I either have to butcher my 89 SC bumper, or my 92 Grille to make them fit...

A smooth Cougar nose would be pretty cool .

BTW - I think the Bird and Cougar are bottom breathers, and the slits/slot in the bumper cover give the rad it's air. Every Tbird has no grill, so not having one on a Cougar won't hurt.

Hmmm - doesn't look 1/2 bad.

Wonder what it would look like with a SC bumper cover, AND the Cougar logo put in the middle of that flat piece?

I have to do something too, and what you've suggested my be just the right thing.
