Spoiler Site, what do you guys think?

Anyone dealt with these folks, or even heard of them? Looks decent, and I did a search of the forums and it doesnt look like anyone has mentioned them before.

They have two spoilers for the Thunderbirds, both of which don't look too bad. The price is decent around $180 and they will paint them to match factory paint for another $75.

They do have one for the Mark, but I didnt see anything for the MN12 Cougar... do Thunderbird spoilers fit the Cougars???

I like the 96 taurus spoiler on a thunderbird.
My car has a 01 gt spoiler on it, but I still like the taurus spoiler. I think that ford put a taurus spoiler on the prototype SVT Thunderbird?

Maybe I'm cheap, but 180 sounds like a lot for a wing for your car. I paid 35 bucks for mine. It came from a saleen takeoff.

Unfortunately, I have to have the style that sits flat on the deck lid... it originally had a Xenon spoiler on it, and it sat flat. To install it, they roughed up the paint and put the "glue" under there, as well as they drilled the holes in the four corners for the screws. So now it looks like hell, with patches of this black glue, scuffed paint and some spots where it looks like razor nicks in the paint where I suppose a razor was used to remove the glue. That is, assuming that the install had to be repaired once when it started coming off some other time.

Anyway, I would definately rather have on of the spoilers that sits on "legs" and is up off the lid. I'm going to the salvage yard, and I have some requests in the Wanted forums to try to find a used deck lid the same color as mine.

the SVT prototype didn't have a taurus spoiler on it, but the guy who built the SVT replica put a 95 SHO spoiler on his. I personally love it, and think it's one of the best looking ones for a thunderbird.

Danimal that's pretty much like the Xenon spoiler I had on there before. I like that one, it would sit and cover the previous work.. hmmm

Great picture. I have that issue of hot rod mag. Even better thing is I saw that car in person this year at the All Ford Nationals at Carlisle, PA. I beleive the owners name is Alex Baynard. I spoke to him for quite some time about the car. He has a new 4.6 cobra motor sitting under the hood, with a kenne brown blower sitting on top of that.

Very neat car, and truly a SVT Thunderbird in my opinion.

I have a brand new Cervinis laying in my garage, it's for sale if anyone of you want it.

Price is $150 + shipping.

Keep in mind, brand new from Cervinis they are over $200.

I have a Gen II SHO spoiler in my storage room. I was planning on putting it on my Gen I taurus, but am having second thoughts because it looks like I will have modify the trunk lid for it to work. Might put it on my bird, might sell it, depends how much the spoiler is worth to someone....

As for aftermarket...I like my wingwest custom style #3 with LED the best:

Matt "Looks Like Egon" Davis
96 Alpine Green V8
98 Audi A8 4.2Q in Racing Green Totalled
02 Audi A8L 4.2Q in Black

I buy my OEM Ford parts at 10% over dealer cost from Steve in White Bear Lake, MN.

The best looking wing in my opinion, mine is brushed with red as I did that just to get an idea of what it would look like on my car, I never got around to getting it painted and mounted and later decided to just for go putting a spoiler on it and leave it alone. Here's a picture of the spoiler from Cervini's site.

yeah thats a nice spoiler, but the article says its off a 96 sho, but i think that most of the 96 sho's have the smaller style spoiler, the 95 style is pretty similar, but has less of a smoother curve on the ends of the spoiler....

im picking one up (mid90's SHO lip spoiler) this week or next from a junk yard, they are running about 100 right now around here, but it is the best looking on the bird, especially since i think the back end needs something but just a little something not a lot something, and the sho spoiler is that perfect little something, especially since i always make fun of civics with their wings, i need to keep real low profile for once my car is done and i roll in on their fun wiht my better car -greg

hey 94birdnj....

A quick question about your exhaust tips. Did you cut the rear cover or are the tips just routed under it? Have you had problems with heat melting the cover? The car looks SWEET and I would like to add tips like yours to my 97.
