Question Hood Lift Support

I am trying to get rid of my nasty prop rod in the front of my aftermarket hood. I am trying to go back to the stock shock style but need to know who would have that style but with not as stiff of a shock. My aftermarket hood weighs probably 1/2 of the stock hood so using the stock shocks would break my hood in half! Anybody have any clue as to where I can pick this up. Thanks.

Get some at Auto Zone or O'Reilley's, they should have some lower power ones.

Hood

John,

What kind of hood do you have? I am interested in getting one next summer.

Thanks
