Front License Plate

I have noticed that a lot of people have taken that black thing off the front of the car that you put the license plate on. How exactly do you do this and if i take mine off is the paint underneath it gonna be F*ed up and look bad or what? Nothing a little elbow grease and wax can't fix? Thanks guys

Its really easy to take off there are 4 screws behind the plate. Your paint should be fine. The only thing is you will have 4 holes.

I had four plastic push rivits. simply rip off the heads, and take the plate mount off. then you can easily take the rivets out.

oh, and in case you ever need to re-attacth your front plate, keep the mount.

I had mine off, got into an accident, and am getting a new one (still have old sitting in my carport). going to try and get them to paint it body color for me
