On my stock foglights (SHO) and the Optilux that my bird came with, there was a screw holding the bulb assembly in the lense on the bottom.

Kornhaus would probably know for sure....

I am pretty sure its a sealed enclosure besides the grommet in the back for the wires. But I will check tomorrow during the day.

Thanks for the help.

Ok I figured it couldn't hurt to check out their website. I then came by this pdf of mounting/instructions.

If anybody is also wondering, here is some info.

Remove the 2 8mm bolts that attach it to the bracket

Pull the lens free from the housing

Pull the 2 wires from the bulb

Squeeze the bulb retainer, flip it open, and pull the bulb out

TCCoA, there's no better way.

Let us know if there's an improvement. I have the FF50 driving lights. I just ordered a replacement Hella H7 55w bulb for ~$9 for one of them. I was gonna spring for Silverstars but I held myself back. I've already completely ruined 2 of the FF50's. I talked to a guy at Hella that was kind enough to send me two replacement housings for free. That was enough to fix one of them.

Sure thing, I'll see if I can get a pic of the cat at night with one stock and the other silverstar.
