Reverse lights?

I'm in the process of tinting (smoking) the taillights on my '96 Cougar.
Is it possible to pop out the reverse lenses to clean all the wax and gunk out of them? It's proving to be quite a chore.

I thought they were molded into the panel. If not that would be cool to know for later.

Get a nice stiff toothbrush and scrub away, always does the trick for me.

I've got some 100wt reverse lights if you're interested. I think I paid something like $7 shipped. Can't stay in reverse long or you'll melt something. Let me know and I'll try to find them. FYI: I'll be gone a couple days.

When I used NiteShades, I covered up the strip that has the emblem and reverse part. But if I remember, yours are more solid compared to mine.

Take a doubled-over towel with a stick.

Celica and Chevy 1500 are sold for parts. Now I'm left with the broken Buick and my '98 Dakota.
