'97 GTS headlight covers...

So I bought some 97 style ones for the new lights, and the header panel makes it so they don't clip on like they're supposed to. Has anyone else had this problem? One of them looks maybe a little warped...I dunno. Should I take them back? Cut the header panel so they fit? Cut the light covers so they fit?

Last time I saw a 96 or 97 black lx with tail light and headlight covers it looked soooo beautiful, and the chrome super coupe wheels really set it off nice.

what you can try is take the headlight out and tun all the adjustment screw out about 1/4 inch and then put it back in and see if it fits if that doesnt work a little griding on the header panel right where the tab is for the covers will work.
