go to the "car gallery" section off of the main page, and look at the custom wheels galery...most of them are labeled.

I am a sucker for some nice 9" wide cobra r's...prefferably on the 24 mm offset (sticks them out flush with the body). Check out tony's page...he's got a huge "custom thunderbirds" section, there are alot of awesome wheels in there to give you some really good idea's (and tons of cobra r's).

Cobras

Personally i love the Cobra r's on my car. It makes the car look mean and people always wanna race. My car is a 1990 but i think it might help you a little with your choice.

i'm honestly not sure who sells the ROH snypers for a thunderbird. You'll just have to do a search and see what you come up with. I would assume that they make a wheel to fit the MN12, because I have seen one with them on there.

I'm not sure who's car that is...but it is amazing looking with those wheels.

I'm going to have to cast annother vote for the cobra r's. I have had them for over a year now and love them. The other Ford guys on the streets get a kick out of seeing the wheels on annother non-mustang ford, and I get tons of comments from people.

Goodluck with your choice!

gonna cast another vote for the cobra's. same as dan here, everytime i get new tires mounted (which is often) someone will always say "i bet they look nice on your mustang"... "nope, they look nice on my tbird, thanks" or the ever-so-popular "WOW, YOUVE GOT COBRA R'S MAN, THOSE ARE HELLA NICE" like theyre plated with gold or something.

casting another vote for cobra r's.. when i got my tires mounted, i took the rims and tires out of the car and the guy asked me what kinda car they were for.. i said for the thunderbird here.. he kinda laughed at the fact of having cobra rims on a non-mustang, but they look sweet as hell. yes, about 50% of people with aftermarket rims have the cobra's, but as i just said, they look soooo nice.

Cobra's

They just look so natural. Sorry, no pic, but I'm pretty sure that we have plenty anyways.

I used to want cobra Rs, but there are SO many people with them they fell out of favor with me.

I'm not going to reveal what wheels I'll be getting.

The comments on how the wheels look or the personal satisfaction is what matters, not how exclusive they are. I mean...yeah lots of people on here have cobra r's...but I have only seen ONE other MN12 with cobra r's on the street in Chicago...and that was 2 or 3 years ago.

They are one of my favorites...but there are deffinately a few wheels out there that I have thought about trading out my Cobra R's for...*cough mille miglia sport cough* ohh excuse me...*cough ROH snypers cough* ohh i sneezed.

Yeah...it's Saturday night here at college...so maybe it's the coors doing the talking,

exactly.. in all the thunderbird's i've seen (and this includes members of my club) i've only seen one other tbird with the cobra's, and his were chrome, so technically we didn't have the same rims
