SC body kit for 5.0 LX

I was wondering if anyone had attempted to take the bumpers, skirts and put them on a lx. I want to know how hard it was, and will i need to modify anything or will it be a bolt on type deal. Any advice would be nice.

If you get same year sc parts as the lx the swap is direct. Earlier SC models have a cornering
lamp in the front side facia which may not be on your car currently.
There are a number of people that have done it around here.

Sides and rear bumper and foam will fit any year Thunderbird or Cougar. tbirdbrain is correct about the front bumper. The only thing you will have to worry about it the side moldings not matching up with the bumpers' moldings, unless it is the same style (years).

not all Sc's had this cornering light on the side of the front facia. I took all the bumpers & the body kit from my 89 SC and installed it onto my 93 lx no problem whatsover.

The extra light was part of a special lighting group. According to one of my books, it was an extra $1235.

If your exhaust tip is larger than your cylinder bore, then you are a Ricer.
